BRIMALCO is a Madrid construction company dedicated to two things: building new homes and renovating existing ones. We carry out all kinds of renovations, from a bathroom or a kitchen to the entire house, with the same care on a small project as on a build from scratch.
We combine traditional craftsmanship with the most advanced tools in the industry: 3D modelling to resolve every detail before we start, integrated home automation and energy-efficiency solutions you will notice in comfort and on your bills.
But technology is only a means. What really matters to us is how your family will feel at home: the light every morning, the quiet at night, the air you breathe and the peace of mind of knowing everything has been done right.
Júlio Sarmento and Alex Morais joined forces with a shared purpose: to build differently. Júlio, the company's CEO, brings years of experience leading businesses, managing people and overseeing finance and administration. Alex, Director of Operations, brings a broad background in construction projects, from planning through to the handover of every build. Together they have created a renewed construction company that combines rigorous management with technical command of every project, delivering each home with quality, transparency and care in every detail.

Do you take on small renovations or only large projects?
We take on all kinds of work: from renovating a bathroom or a kitchen to building an entire home. Every project receives the same attention.
How much does it cost to build or renovate with BRIMALCO?
It depends on the size, the finishes and the condition of the property or plot. After the first visit we give you a detailed, itemised quote with no obligation.
How long does a project take?
A bathroom or kitchen renovation usually takes a few weeks; a full renovation, several months; and a new home, more than a year including permits. We give you a written schedule before we start.
Do you handle licences and permits?
Yes. We obtain the building permit from the local council and, on completion, all the documentation needed to hand over the home.
What guarantee does the work have?
All our work carries the guarantees established by Spain’s Building Act (Ley de Ordenación de la Edificación), and we give you the warranty conditions for each job in writing.
Can I follow the work without being there?
Yes. We send you photos and progress reports regularly and arrange visits with you at key moments.
